What do Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem have in common? They’re starring in “The Counselor” for director Ridley Scott, a new violent thriller from writer Cormac McCarthy.
The film, due out on Oct. 25, tells the story of lawyer (Fassbender)
who gets in over his head when he decides to engage in some low-level
drug trafficking. Violence, mayhem and cheetahs follow soon thereafter.
McCarthy, the famed author who wrote “No Country For Old Men” among
other pulp novels, makes his film screenwriting debut with “The
Counselor.”
